Tasting or demonstrating the product at Points of Sale is a very effective strategy. After all, some customers are reluctant to buy a product without having ever consumed it. It is, therefore, a practice that can increase sales by up to 20%since, when trying or using a product – and liking it –, the customer is driven to take it home.

This practice offers the customer a true and captivating experience with your brand, in addition to drawing a lot of attention in the places where it is inserted, at the POS. There is a study by Instituto Popai – Global Association for Marketing and Retail, which states that approximately 80% of customers would buy a product after a satisfactory tasting at the Point of Sale.

This type of strategy may even increase the authority of your brand — that is, the reputation solidified with the shopper —, who will use it as an option whenever the product or service to which it is related is mentioned.
